How sponsor recognition works.
JASSP recognition follows money that has actually reached eligible junior sport sponsorships. A business cannot pay JASSP separately for a ranking position.
Three laddersThis month.
This month.
This season. All time.
- Monthly
- The monthly ladder uses Australia/Sydney calendar months. The business with the highest eligible settled sponsorship principal is shown as the JASSP Top Backer for that month. The live position can change during the month and if a payment is later refunded or disputed.
- Season
- Counts eligible settled sponsorship for the season named on the ladder. It resets when JASSP’s current season changes.
- All time
- Counts eligible settled sponsorship across every JASSP season, after recorded refunds and reversals.
What countsSettled money.
Settled money.
Nothing else.
- Only sponsorship processed through JASSP after it settles.
- Only the amount nominated for the club—not the JASSP fee.
- Refunded amounts are removed; disputed sponsorship is hidden.
- Suspended or unpublished sponsor profiles do not appear.
- If totals match, the earlier eligible settlement ranks first. If those timestamps are also identical, a stable system identifier is the final tie-break.
What the title means
“Top Backer” means first on the stated JASSP ladder for the stated period. It is not a claim that the business is the best business generally, and it does not imply an endorsement by a club or governing body.
Something looks wrong?
Rankings update from the payment record. If a settlement, refund or business name appears incorrect, contact JASSP with the business, club and payment date so the underlying record can be checked. Rankings are not adjusted by hand without a matching payment correction.
